We are registering for 2023-2024!

 

Little Vikings Preschoolers are excited to come to St. Vincent's each day because of our nurturing teachers who create a supportive learning environment for students.

 

Our Preschool program provides children with a learning experience that encourages academic, social, and emotional development.  Our curriculum incorporates engaging activities to support self-confidence and cognitive development growth for students. 


Our age-appropriate curriculum includes a faith foundation and creative play to develop a love for learning in our students and to prepare them for Kindergarten.

Preschool Options:
Full Day: 7:50 am to 2:15 pm 
Half Day: 7:50 am to 12:00 pm (5 days) or 7:50 am to 2:15 pm (3 days)

 

Circle time - Centered on learning through repetition in areas such as: days of the week, months of the year, weather, letter and number recognition, colors, shapes, pledge of allegiance, and prayers  
 

Name writing practice - Specifically taught to each student's ability progressing through the year
 

Centers - Academic learning with engaging activities in math, literacy, fine motor, gross motor and science


Religion - Daily lessons with crafts and songs taught at an age-appropriate level


Gym - Once a week, students have gym class with the school's gym teacher


Free play, snack, lunch

Circle time - Focused on repetitive learning in areas such as: calendar, seasons, 100 day count, weather, pledge of allegiance, and prayers

Name writing practice - Specifically taught to each student's ability progressing through the year

 

Learning Center Curriculum:

Literacy - letter recognition, letter sounds, sight words, journaling

Math - identifying 0-20, counting, patterns, shapes, and sorting

Science - understanding of how to make change happen, nature, cooking, measurements

Religion - Sign of the Cross, prayers, bible songs and stories, Stories of God's Love PK Catholic School daily curriculum

 

Art - dramatic play, music and movement, and art activities

Gym - Once a week, students have gym class with the school's gym teacher

Free play, snack, lunch
